    Nice looking!

    From what I can find out it has a melonite finish, ball cuts, gold bead front sight etc., and 25 lpi checkering which I like better vs. the TRP's 20 lpi. I'd have to see one in person though, SPFD's always look good in the promo pics but production ones typically have over cut frame tangs and poor beavertail fit, not paying 1650.00 for that.

    All that money and, like 90% of the other ‘high end’ manufacturers, they didn’t get the slide serrations right. They put the things at an angle. Slanted slide serrations! The world is indeed coming to an end. Jeez, cats and dogs living together...

    For the money I would personally buy a Dan Wesson and not give cash to the traitors :twocents:, that and no one can ever convince me Springfield is physically capable of making a 1911 as nice as Dan Wesson can (outside of maybe the Springfield Custom Shop)
