    Need some INGO help.

I am looking at an older PPK form someone. I have only seen pictures so far, and it has 7.65mm stamped on the slide.

Would I be correct in assuming that it is .32acp caliber.

    Thanks in advance

    .
Those will be the more expensive of the lot. Look around on the gun for a small stamp that looks like a Roman eagle, that would indicate a WW2 gun and drives up the value even more.

I assume you are talking about the Nazi proof mark. Pics were pretty good and I did not see that.

Well I pulled the trigger on that PPK (pun intended)
IT has the crown over N proof marks which I belive makes it commercial. The serial number is 2039XXK and it has a holster and 2 extra mags
From what I can find it was possibly manufactured in the early 40's.
I'm sure that someone here knows more than me about PPK's. Any thoughts???
Sorry for the low pic quality

    Could be anywhere
From a list I have dated 1974 for the 7.65mm numbers 20000-30000 were manufactured in 1953-4. Crown over N was first used in 1950. Researching some of these numbers is a chocolaty mess...

I carried a PPK pocket rocket for quite a while when required and they are hard to beat for reliability.
One thing about an all metal firearm, you dog won't eat it... ;)

Did you ever get more details on what your PPK is? Trying to find info on them, and date ranges is a lot more challenging that it should be.

I've got a 1941 PPK in .32, with all of the markings.

Actually, the more expensive “of the lot” on commercial PPK’s is a GERMAN WALTHER MADE PPK in .380 (9mm kurz). They were only made and imported in 1967 and 1968 and then were forever banned for import by the arbitrary diagonal measurement requirement of the gun control act of 1968,
