The 9 shot costs more because they have to drill 3 more holes.

And the Heritage is only 6 shots.

So this will be another pile of junk?

    ??

When has Ruger ever made a pile of junk revolver? Made to Ruger standards, simply means made to Ruger standards. Why read into it something that is not there?

Not sure I share the sentiment, could you elaborate? I don't really have anything but good experiences with ruger products.

I would agree and not just revolvers. I have three Ruger rifles, four semi-auto pistols, and two revolvers, all with high round counts, and have never had a problem with any of them.

And I sure hope Rural King has them soon for $129 because I will be all over one. Probably will be anyway, even if the price is not that low.

I think these will play out much like the Ruger American. They will be introduced as a budget model to compete with budget competition, Axis and 770 in the Ruger American rifle case. As they become more popular and established you will see more feature rich options that creep up in price until they bridge the gap between the budget and non budget model. I'm betting after a few years they will have a 10 shot wrangler, with adjustable fiber optic sights, and wood grips, that will be about 50 -100 cheaper than the base model single six.
