I get it, but if I get a TX22 I want it as a trainer gun and I only carry striker fired, no manual safety. Otherwise, I'll just stick with my M&P Compact 22 (which is not striker fired as they have an internal hammer, and also has a manual safety). I can wait to find one hopefully at a decent price and no manual safety.

I really like that look. Now mine seems dull looking.

I admit, that is the best looking TX I've seen!
They took a perfectly boring-looking gun and made it interesting!
That's worth the extra bucks if it's a keeper!

I can't throw any stones, I was on my way out the door of Point Blank after a range time & a Ruger Bearcat .22LR that had some intriguing engraving went home with me.
Completely impulsive buy just b/c it was a looker.
Of course, justifying buying another .22LR is a short step for me.

In my case: so much truth to that.
    Can't go to the gym.
    Can't go to church.
    Can't meet up with friends.
    Can't go out of town.

I can wear my mask & go to the range!
    Rimfires are my friends now.

I have a PSA ar-22 and just learned at the range that I can easily hit at 100 yards with it out of that 16Ē barrel. Makes me wonder how far I could stretch it out. Was not quite as good with the Henry but thatís on me

Very cool. I like the looks of that. May be time to pick up a new rimfire host.

Better with it gone though. I waited to buy mine until the no safety model came out.

Went shooting with a friend yesterday who had never shot a tx22. He likes 22s but stayed away due to it being a Taurus. Heís a believer now and looking to get one. It amazes me how much better they are out of box than the more expensive better names brand polymer 22s. Kinda wish they had a 9mm with same trigger and ergos
