During my wanderings at the NRA Convention, I came across the VZ booth.
I already have a pair of their 320 grips on my 238 which I really like, so I decided to to try and get a set for my 938.
The only thing I have done to it since I bought it new was to put a set of X-Ray sights on it.
It came with Hogue grips and I have used those for about 2 years now.
Well, they don't have the 320 grips for the 938, but they dug a set of carbon fiber out of one of the drawers.
So along with the grips, they offered up the screws.
I finally sat down and swapped grips out.
Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but plan to maybe this weekend.
So, my question to INGO is, which one would you choose and why?

Go with what's comfortable and what fits more 'natural' in your hand...
I've never been one for grips-for-show...
    In a fight..looks don't matter...comfort is everything!
    Hogue's generally work for me...
    BACON...

I never liked the hogues when I had a P938, they would always snag on my clothes so I would constantly have to check to make sure I was not accidentally open carrying. I actually put a pair of the exact same CF grips on mine and that 100% fixed the clothing snagging issue for me in addition to looking cool.

Whichever feels best and also doesn't get hung up on the draw. As Dean said, the Hogues can get hung up on clothes, etc. Looks would not be a primary concern for me on this type of gun, as few will see it (in the case of concealed carry, and if that's not the case, I'd be carrying something larger) and if they are seeing it, how cool the grips are won't be a factor.

The carbon fiber, clearly. Hogue rubber grips are worthless for concealed carry, and they become absurdly slippery as soon as they're a slight bit damp.

My preference in grips remains a modestly checkered/textured G10 when I can get it. It stays locked into my hand to the point skin will be removed before it slips, while it doesn't grab my clothing.

I'd also recommend you test those grip screws by rubbing them against cloth and other materials to ensure they don't snag. If they do, you might want to dehorn them, as I have had negative experiences with fancy screws.

I had a set of Hogues on the latest 938 I bought and hated them. I went with a set of VZ double diamond in coyote and love the things. I have the CF on one of my CZs and those are really nice too but I could not swing the cost for the P938.

I do not like the Hogue grips on the P938. They make the pistol seem too bulky and very difficult getting out of a pocket. I had the Sig Blackwood grips on mine. They looked fantastic and felt really good too.
