You're killing me... I've wanted one of those for a while but had myself convinced that maybe I could just wait on buying one

Spent part of the day shooting with my sons. You know your vision is getting sketchy when they are beating you and they shoot about 10% as much as you do.:)
It’s running really well now. My son and I ran down to Atterbury late yesterday and I was able to get these groups. When first assembled, I was still running low but a new set of scope rings helped a lot. It’s now about where I want it to be other than needing to adjust the eye relief.

I missed you guys by around 5 minutes this morning... :ugh:
CM has a couple of winners in those two Standard MFG 1911s. They are definitely top shelf in build quality. His ‘new’ TRP that’s now in 10mm was my favorite though. It is spot on even when you start pushing the rate of fire. That one is now worth of his collection. His 85B is no slouch either. It’s nice to see CM with a steel framed CZ.
I had my S&W 581, DW Heritage and Colt DE along. All ran well except for the DW having last round issues with the mag I had along. Time to order a bunch more WC 47Ds.
Good to hear the you got the problem solved 88.
Response to running the 85 in a word.....:wow:....Just :wow:
Both the Standards are just great.. The Blued one is the better but it has had a bit of tuning to the ignition controls. To the average shooter these are exemplary offerings.
The TRP 10mm conversion is just a beast.
