I'll have to buy some rubber O-rings to install under the screw heads, as they recommend. You'd think for the money, they'd throw some in the box .... but not the case. However they were packaged very, very, well.

It's like holding an ancient, sacred artifact in your hands.

8,000 yrs old? Did they have Mouse's initials on the back?

By the time they added sales tax and shipping, they were $373 (and that was with a 20% discount they were offering for one-day only) But Wilson Combat has a 'guy', and if you want to avail yourself of his twenty years of sourcing & working with the material ... you pay the piper. I don't regret it one little bit.

Now .... I have to search out a 1911 'shiny' similar to yours, so that I can give these grips a really good home.

Got'cha ! Thanks for the lead, and the offer to drop your name. I'll do exactly that. But it'll be a little while. We're going to do some major upgrades and maintenance to our house this year ...... new roof, siding, etc.
