I need to theme my range trips like this. I tend to just take what grabs me but it would be nice to take along just compacts, P07s, full size guns or such. Might make me take some of the safe queens out more often.

Bought my 04 Sierra in 05 if memory serves with very low miles. Bought it for a work/tow truck and it filled those duty's pretty well for us.
CKW used it when the trans in her Yukon was being rebuilt. She never gave it back to me so all I got to use it for was towing the race car and hauling stuff when needed.
It has 144K on the clock and runs like a watch. Like 88's Ford I am seeing some rust. The truck gets worked pretty hard. It shows. But I will drive it until it is done.

Have you ever been tempted to put together a matching double-rig, 88 ?

Had an 04 Grand Prix that I bought new and drove for 15 years. Had ~ 175k on it when I gave it to my MiL. I paid it off after 5 years and had 10 years of no car payments. Now drive an 18 Mazda CX-5 and I really miss my no car payment!

.....it's the *balance that intrigues me.....it would have to be O-So-Perfect on the upper body. Where does the gun end, and the man begin type of feeling. Nestled in all that goodness....Mmmmm, mmmm.

I paid $ 10,500 cash for my 1998 GMC Sonoma in 1999 (it was new, they wanted to move it).
Still have it . It's my only vehicle these days. Air conditioning is broken, but it only has 52,000 on the odo, and it's been garage-kept.

Wife says "buy something new", but I've rather liked not having a vehicle payment for the last 20 years !
