New S&W 360 with VZ Grips

I recently got a new S&W 360 revolver which has been recently re-designed. I put VZ boot grips on it to make it easier to carry and also had the trigger smoothed a bit (it was pretty gritty when I got it). This is a really nice piece and shoots well. I have about 50 rounds through it so far and it shoots to point of aim, is easy to carry, and easy to conceal. If you're looking for a new carry piece I would highly recommend you look at this revolver. Anybody else out there with one of these let us know about your experience.

357 mag would be pretty stout in this package. I've only fired 38 and 38+P and those shoot very well. I'm not planning on putting any 357 through it.

I had a 340pd, which I carried for two years in my front pocket. I love how light they are and 357 is alot of fun to shoot out of it. I always wanted a 360pd though, they are so nice.

I tried to upload a picture but the site wouldn't let me because it said I have used too much memory. I have a belt holster that I had for a model 60 that fits great. I also have a DeSantis pocket holster that works very well. I do have an ankle holster that it fits into but haven't tried that yet but probably will this weekend.

Yes it would. 327 Fed Mag would be a little less recoil.

I had a 642 that I loved to carry but hated to shoot. I sold it for a LCR in .327. From a sub 2" barrel, the .327 is almost as powerful and the .357, but there are six shots in the cylinder. Plus plinking with .32 S&W long ammo is like rimfire.

LOVE my 360PD, OP mentioned it was recently redesigned did OP get the new 360 instead of the 360PD (main difference is the 360pd has a titanium cylinder and the 360 has a normal steel cylinder ).

I actually made a YouTube review out of mine, towards the end I load it with a bunch of different 38spl and 357mag loadings to demonstrate it's recoil as well.

:nono: naughty language, hurt my ears to hear Dean's angelic voice utter those nasty words at the end. .357 does hurt in those light revolvers though

Full power 357 is just masochistic in the 360pd honestly  Clint Smith from Thunder Ranch once mentioned he had a student run one of these through a BUG course and it supposedly broke at least one bone in his hand during the course.

It is the new 360 not the 360PD. I new that and typed the wrong thing anyway, oh the signs of age!

If you want to see a picture of the 360 and VZ grips you can go to the VZ Grips website and click on Customer Gallery at the top. It was in the second row at the right. 360 with black and grey grips.
