Best hand gun scope

I'm looking to purchase a scope for my 629 classic and was wondering what to get with out breaking the bank ?

I bought my first Leupold 2X almost 25 years ago and it has seen use on 22s , 357s and a 29 and 629 Classic.

I had a Leupold on a 629 DX and it was a great scope. It was a great match for the DX.

I have had good luck with burris pistol scopes.
But I think you should take a look at a raptor mount with a red dot sight.
It will work well past the ranges your planning on shooting.
