I've been developing a magwell for my Shadow 2 but I can't use factory mags without extensive fitting (because factory mag baseplates are wider than the actual gun).

I can redesign it where it doesn't have quite as good blending from gun to magwell but will fit factory mags but I thought I would toss the question out to you guys.

When you are considering the purchase of a magwell is it just a given that you are buying new baseplates or does the ability to use factory mags matter?
