My guess is the way you grip the gun results in part of your hand pushing the slide stop into place. Just be conscientious about that going forward and the issue will likely stop.

More than likely you are manipulating the slide stop with your thumb under recoil. Try shooting it with a thumbs down "revolver" type grip with everything away from the slide stop. Your 2 choices if this is th encase is adjust your grip to a revolver thumbs down grip or place your thumbs or whatever part if effecting the slide stip away
I had issues with my agencies Sig 228s with the thumbs forward grip. In my case the slide went forward after the last round. So this is a common issue at times.
