Around a year ago I was lucky enough to score an original Marvel that Bob built back in the late 90's. The gun was chambered in 45acp. That gun has been a very special for me, and one thats well documented here! You can go back and look over the original post if you would like.
Last week, I was able to score another original Marvel! This time the build comes from 2012... about a year or so after Joe had moved on. Its chambered in 9mm! I am not going to get into all the details on her but, wow...
Ive been truly blessed to own some of the finest 1911's that have blessed the earth (more to come)! I have to say this Marvel gun is unlike any other 1911 in my stable. I am not going to say "better", but its def up at the pinnacle of pistols I have handled!
Outside of that, bluing is perfect, trigger pull is what you would expect from a piece of this caliber... you all know the rest
For me the grips leave something to be desired, but thats a very simple fix. So, without further a-do, here is the new Bob Marvel Custom...
