    I'll throw this in. My Dan Wesson can't put 2 shots in the same place. My S&W can drive a nail in. So in this case the cheaper gun wins.

    I haven't. Off the top of my head, maybe it needs a bushing. The barrel shouldn't be wore out yet. It's CZ, pretty new.

    Check barrel lock up at the hood. Also bushing fit up.

    Agree with this. I have a couple SR1911 pistols, a commander and an officer's model. Not as fit-up or accurate as my DW examples, but so far every bit as reliable. Gently used SR1911s can be had in the $600 range. My experience with Springfield is much more limited, but I was underwhelmed at what I got in a Springer Elite Series vs. the SR1911.
