    Value of almost LNIB FNP-45?

A buddy has an almost like new FNP-45. 2 mags. I think he told me only around 200 rds through it - hence the "almost like new".

Any idea what the thing will bring? I told him that if he could get $400 from a private party that he should. And that a shop would probably offer him $150-200 or so.

    Thanks.

Assuming it is not a tactical or competition:

    NIB 700 Exc 625 VG 500 Good 375

per 2019 standard catalog of firearms 29th edition
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous...

PS: The book makes no provisions for dispensing money, so in the end it is what someone will pay...

These were selling for $520. And it's been used, so VG? IMO 400 is fair but I would think it's just a little low.

Not many people are looking for the FNP model anymore, they want the FNX. I recently sold one with 7 mags for $450 and that was about all I could get out of it. $400 is about right
It's all true!!! The Boogieman IS real, and you found him!!!

    Thanks all.

yes, this is the standard plain Jane model. Not the tactical (unfortunately) nor FNX. If it wouldn't cost pert 'near $200 for a threaded barrel, I may even consider sniffing at it myself.

Alas - I don't have the spare $600 to throw at it. Nor do I want to get myself into .45 ACP.
