Never had a problem with them other than a Colt Navy conversion losing the front sight. I'm just going to replace that factory sight with a more period looking one.

I have a few, just picked this P Thunderer up with 3 1/2” barrel. Shoots great. Fit & finish of a Cimarron is worth it.

I have a Thunderball .357 3 1/2, the case hardened version. It looks and shoots great, my only issue with it is due to me and not the gun. It has to do with the edge of the frame above the trigger in relation to the knuckle on my index finger.
Let's just say the machining is very clean and crisp and I'm reminded every time I pull the trigger. Trying to find a way to adjust my grip so the recoil doesn't cause it to hit because I really like the gun.

"Are Cimarron Single actions worth the money?" Cimarron is an importer not a maker. Their guns are made by Uberti, one of two major cowboy guns used in SASS. Taylors & Company Firearmswww.taylorsfirearms.com is another major importer that buy's from Uberti, I think Taylor's is the big importer right now.

To answer you: The Uberti sees a lot of use in SASS and holds up good. They are mostly good with a few bad ones out of the many. I like them enough that most of my 26 cap guns are Uberti with only one needing an adjustment to run. Go to the SASS Forum and ask people that use the gun you are looking at, do search on SASS and you will be able to read more good than bad about them.

Have one of the 1862 Pocket Navy revolvers from Cimarron.
Still in the box. Haven't convinced myself to pop a cap through it!

I just bought the Lightning 3.5 and the 'Wild Bill' 1851 Navy conversion in .38 special. They are both really well made and a lot of fun to shoot.
