FEG P9M questions

I recently bought a very well worn FEG p9m on impulse. Paid very little for it and knew nothing about them other than it resembles a hi-power. Upon doing some research i discovered some are closer to the hi-powers than others and some might use a S&W mag instead of a browning mag. Does anyone have any experience with these or a hipower mag i could test fit in it to see before i buy a spare? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Iirc the double action ones use s&w mags single action uses hp mags

Yep that one is a straight-up BHP clone. Check the springs... the one I used to have broke an extractor spring with very low round count.

I had an FEG hi power clone. It shot as well as my array of hi powers. Loaned it to a friend and was stolen out of his truck. Great guns.

Mine was spotty when I got it, unknown number of rounds through it. Replaced extractor, extractor spring, and recoil spring, and it's been great ever since.
