I'll be adding one of these to my collection in the future since I have been unable to find a Gen 1 G17 that is not priced for an arm and a leg.

So the Glock 17 was not the first pistol Glock came out with?

Yes tye 17 was however Austria adopted itbin 1982 and the first 4,000 off the line were sold to them as and marked P 80. This was due because of the Austrian Military trials ordered in 1980 hence the P 80 designation

Just when I thought that Glock could not possibly get any more innovative...

Have we heard anything on the carbine yet? :):

Was over in Mishawaka and decided to see if Midwest had any in yet. The guy behind the counter didn't even know what I was talking about. Wasted 10 minutes educating him. They hadn't seen any yet. Very disappointed.

I'd say that describes 85% of RK gun counter folks and I mean no disrespect

I noticed Premier Arms said they had a few and according to their advertisements, they only charge 10% over cost on new guns. I'd be interested to see if that holds true for these.

And it looked like they were doing some thing of show up this day at 10 AM first and you have a first shot at one, then the next day same thing, etc.
I'm not lining up what is essentially a 40 year old, yet NIB, Glock and paying more for it as well. I like Glocks, but time has marched on and improvements have come along within the Glock line, and by other OEMs.

I didn't see that part and I totally agree with that. It'll be a cold day before I stand in line for any Glock.
