    Delaware State Police S&W 681

    [20200528_122935.jpg]

    Good afternoon guys and gals,

I am a collector of law-enforcement-marked firearms. Most of my collection consists of S&W revolvers, but I have Sigs, Glocks, and Beretta's to.

This S&W 681 belonged to the Delaware State Police. I like their logo/symbol for its simplicity and realistic representation of what a leo is.

They also issued a snub nose 64. Needless to say, it is on my radar. Thanks for looking

Very nice. I was not aware of this model. Is it like a 686 with non-adjustable sights?
    Anything is possible

S&W 581/681's are probably my favorite smith revolvers, nice find.

    Thank you sir

It was the first L frame that came out, along with the 581. They are L frames with fixed sights.

The 686 and 586 are the same guns, they just have adjustable sights

I really want a 581. They are more difficult to come by than the 681

Wow that’s a nice revolver. I know it’s not feasible for law enforcement to carry revolvers anymore but it’s awesome to see what they did carry.
