Also 4 o'clock in a belt holster. 27 Years as a LEO, and that is where I'm used to carrying it. I'm too old to learn something new. :):

Besides, as noted above, John Wayne!

4 o'clock here iwb or owb. Was trained that way and have trained that way all my life. Only other way I'd wear one is on webgear left front. Also carried one like that for several years but that would be intimidating and definitely not concealed.

Sturdy belt. Always a good belt. 4 o’clock on the strong side.

I have nothing against appendix carry. But I haven’t been able to make it work for me.

Pretty much same here. I prefer OWB and dress around it. Holsters are kind of a personal choice but buy the best quality that you can. You will spend the cost of one good holster in trying a bunch of crappy holsters only to discover that they don’t work well firsthand. My favorite owb holster is the Kramer OWB Scabbard in horsehide. Delivery on those is currently about 13 weeks though.

I've started carrying OWB at 2:00-2:30. Easy to draw when standing or seated. Prints less then a IWB on the hip. With a slight cant it keeps the muzzle oriented out toward my hip when seated and not pointed at my junk. Best of all worlds.

I've found the curve of the Safariland paddle holsters really fit my body well for this type of setup.

Appendix Carry. It is easiest to carry concealed for a skinny little guy. No printing whatsoever.

Be fearless, go with quality, it is pointing at your junk!

Appendix for me. I'm thin framed... I couldn't conceal a toothpick on my side without it printing

    I'm 5'9 140. My G19 disappears at 4'oclock IWB. Try it.

Edit: With a baggy tee, you can see it print. But you cant tell what it is. Looks like it could be a phone, insulin pump, etc.
