Does anyone here have any experience with the CZ-82? Would you consider using one as your carry gun? I'm thinking about getting one when my C&R comes in, but I don't know much about them and don't want to waste money that I could use on something else if they are junk.

I've known several who have had them, including my son. All said they had bad hammer bite and sold them because they were too uncomfortable to shoot. Recommend you try one, before buying, if possible to see how it fits you. Nobody reported any operational problems. CZ has and still does make quality products. If you are looking at that size, consider a Bersa Thunder 380. I had one and it felt and worked great. All 380 or 9X18 loads are limited in power by their blowback actions. The rare exception being the KelTec P3AT or the now discontinued Colt Mustang which are locked breach.
