The Glock 18 was a handful but so much fun to shoot.

Rocco and his staff at Midwest Gun and Range rolled out the red carpet for us. They did an exceptional job of showing their professionalism and how to treat customers.

Pizza was amazing, fellowship was great and the FA guns left a smile on everyone's face.

Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to do an event like this on the weekend. They are too busy with customers filling up the range and shopping in the store to put on an event this big.

They do run specials all the time on certain weapons for 200 rounds of ammo and a FA gun for less price than the normal equipment rental. Get on their mailing list for specials to be sent to you.

A huge thanks to Midwest Gun & Range. We had a blast (literally). Round count for the night was 3,000. I personally enjoyed the GLOCK 18 (despite the spongebob trigger....cause I only had to pull it once) and the UZI. The Beretta model 12 was also really cool.

I could easily get addicted to this.

Thanks to all who showed up. Good to see some familiar faces and some new ones. They all had huge smiles on them when we left.

Youngest son and me. I'm on the MP5 and he's on the Glock 18. The first Glock either of us ever shot was the 18. My wife was not happy - "Why would anyone need one of these?" Well, I think we just proved that. Thanks to all who helped make this possible.

i understand about the weekend, maybe do a get together some place else. unfortunately there would not be any full autos, but grill out and do some shooting maybe tannerite. problem with my range [for now] is u have to access it from behind because it is on the other side of a ditch. and the berm is to small for more than 2 shooters at a time. unless some one wanted to donate some equipment to use to make a new berm. if the atv jumps were leveled and a large berm at the woods there would be a 500+ yard from the back of my house.

    Ditto.

REALLY wish I could have made this one. I almost did. Our South Bend location is moving today. Which means I could have ducked out. I even was at that location today around lunch time tearing down the equipment at the old site so they could move it.

Unfortunately we also bought a company, so I'm stuck integrating them 4 hours away instead of helping with the move. (or shooting) :xmad:

    Glad you guys had fun.

Just wanted to thank Rocco and all the guys at Midwest for the hard work they did last nite.
They did a fabulous job keeping up and loading and the safety.
Thanks to Glueman for all the organizing, not an easy task.
Thanks to Romain Yoder for taking time to talk to us.
I spent quite a bit of time catching up with him.
His wife died a few years ago and I am sure he appreciated the opportunity to get out and talk and relax.
Had a good time shooting the MP5, the Beretta and finally the bullet sprayer Glock.
That thing is a fistful to shoot.
Really enjoyed sharing and getting ot meet some new people.

This is my dad shooting after he shot his first full auto. He had a great time.

The look on your Dads face is my favorite part of a full auto shoot. I have been to several and the smile is always the same, just on different faces.

For the people that make statements about why does any non military or LEO need full auto weapons. Well if they were with us last night they would now know.

And that is why they call it a giggle switch :D

Looks like everyone had a blast, hopefully next time my schedule will be more cooperative.

I also missed a NFA day shoot. :xmad:
My only consonance, that boss no longer works here. I think he was boss #20. But I'm starting to lose track of them.
