I've secured the MTAC facility for an InGO shoot house event. Full force on force, using your very own ar15 or the facilities rental pistols. This event is purely for entertainment purposes only. It will be a great chance to meet some of the people you talk to everyday, and then shoot them. All experience levels welcome, I'm going to ask that we keep this 18 and over, I don't know if MTAC allows minors to participate in force on force.

MTAC has set up a preregistration page where they are taking deposits. Please register here. This is how they know we are committed so they do not waste manpower staffing on a Saturday if people do not show.
None of this money goes to me, INGO, or anyone other than the host facility. I am organizing on my own without compensation or reward, I pay what you pay.
Please Continue to RSVP so that I have an idea of numbers for scenario planning.

    RSVP Here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ingo-shoothouse-saturday-tickets-44769965171
The venue is in Muncie @ 3800 E McGalliard Rd, Muncie, IN 47303
    Date: 21 July 18 starting at 0900 - 1100 or 1200 depending on attendance
Costs: Pistol Rental w/ 1 box of Ammo - $60/// AR Bolt w/ 1 box of ammo $80 or both for $125. Extra ammo is available for purchase.
PPE: Head and Neck protection provided with rental, you must protect your own soft parts. Long sleeve shirts and something extra over the jewels.
Hydration: Bring water it will be warm.
Experience Level: ALL, come as you are.
    Equipment:
-Bring your own AR15 in 223/556.
    -Pistols available for rent
    +7-17's
    +6-19's
    +1 sig 320
+if you have another pistol with UTM conversion contact me.
-Holsters will not be necessary, but feel free to bring a compatible holster if you want. A magazine holster would also be very beneficial.
++Glock Sport Holster and Magazine carriers are available from Glock's website for less than 30dollars for the pair.
-A sling for your rifle if you intend to run pistol and rifle will be necessary.

This event is not instructor lead, requires no previous experience, but will still provide a unique firearms experience. I highly suggest bringing an AR, must be chambered in 223/5.56, as it will allow you to realize their effectiveness in a home defense situation. I must stress that this event should not be considered training in any capacity, rather consider it as a lens that magnifies the areas you want to seek professional instruction in. It is also an excellent networking event that will allow you to meet other like minded shooters.

Scenarios will depend on attendance, but for sake of providing some structure to keep things moving I plan to have a tentative schedule in place by July 11th. I ask that people RSVP via EventBrite so that I can have a good guess of attendance and numbers.

The venue includes a classroom that will serve as our staging ground/break area. The shoot house has multiple rooms with furniture. The range is an open floor with a sedan and obstacles that can be placed.

    Scenarios that could be included:
-Team Death Match - timed match between two or three teams. For times sake no respawning and a hit is a kill.
-VIP - Unarmed VIP must be escorted or defended against aggressors (static or waves).
-Grudge match - 1v1 heads up
-Zombies - Unarmed waves of zombies descend on your position for a set time. Get touched, get turned, limited ammo.
-Team Entry - Live out your fantasy of being in a Tom Clancy Novel.
-Capture the Flag - Could be an objective combined with most other scenarios listed.

I plan on getting lunch afterward, and everyone is welcome to join. You do not need to participate in the shoot house to participate in the unofficial InGO after action mixer. If you are like me and have an overactive cooling system, feel free bring a change of clothes. Again RSVP early incase we need to make reservations, I don't see a group being an issue in Muncie over summer break though.

Feel Free to add to the conversation with suggested scenarios. I will edit the main post as we progress closer to the events date.

****For safety sake do not bring a loaded firearm into the building. If you must carry into the building, please check your carry weapon into the armory before going into the classroom. We do not want a carry gun getting into the mix. I'm not anti carry, but this is a very unique and special situation****

Forgive my ignorance, but from what I'm reading this is a paintball type kind of thing?

Paintball on steroids perhaps, UTM Man Marker Rounds operate in real firearms with special equipment. They are more accurate than paintballs, and they function semi or full auto. They have quite the sting to them, and will break the skin up close. This particular get together is looking to be very informal, but I have used them in several formal Force on Force classes.

Its not my fault the world caters to the lowest common denominator currently and I do believe that constitutes as a game on :rockwoot:need to find a cigar bar after or something

Hey guys please check the original post for a link to the MTAC registration. Deposits will lock our spot in and protect the facility from no shows. We do not pay a facility fee just equipment rental and ammo, your deposit will cover that.

    Thanks.

MTAC has updated their payment security certificate. We need people to preregister for them to open the facility up to us. Link to register is on the front page first post.

Done. But just fyi, the site and security certificate is still showing as "unsafe", at least for me.

I'll send them another email. They sent a message to their webhost, hopefully they clear it. If not people are more than welcome to show up day of and pay in person. They needed at least a few of us to put deposits down for comfort, the battleground events just didn't take off for them. I can't fault them for not wanting to pay employees to show up for a no show day.

Should be a lot of fun, be sure to bring water and those of you like me with an overactive internal cooling system a change of clothes it'll be toasty. Hope we can turn it into a quarterly event as it is a lot of fun and we could really pull some practical home defense and carry training into the mix. They have had some pictures up from swat schools and other alpha training that most of us only get to participate in on video games, and a brief time in basic training for those of us non combat role vets lol.

Ok I’ll get me and my buddies set up then, was waiting to see if anyone was going to show?

That is what I told them initially. I have noticed that a lot of the events on here fill up a week or two prior and generally have a few stragglers that just show up day of. Makes it a nightmare to plan, but most of us are at the mercy of SWMBO and clearances can be slow to show. I used the it's my birthday argument to get this one lol, it's pushing it for me to be out shooting 3 out of 4 weekends since the daughter was born, but this has been going surprisingly smooth lately... almost too smooth....
