    LINK TO FLYER

    SATURDAY, 13 JUNE 2020

For those new to this event here is a link to our past events.
The 7th annual event is here.
The 6th annual event is here.
The 5th annual event is here and it has links to all the prior years in post 1.

    ---
So here is what we need to talk about right now.

    1) Can you volunteer?
    - We need firearms instructors to teach the kids (we can supply you with a .22lr longgun and ammo if needed)
    - We need skeet/trap operators and instructors
    - We need safety range officers to oversee each of the areas (4 to 5 ranges)

    Optional helpers
    - We need photographers
    - We need ammo runners (to take ammo to the various benches)
    - We need greeters
    - We need weapons to display in the tent (see here for more info)

    ---
You can't volunteer (in person) but want to help?

The past 7 years INGO member have been kind and generous in donating ammo (.22lr mainly) for this event.
Once again we need donations to make this even possible.
    - .22lr ammo mainly
    - .223 and 7.62x39 for the single 'big rifles bench'
(does not matter if you are not in NWI we have members that go all over the state and can bring back your ammo donation)
    - money donations for t-shirts for the volunteers (d.kaufman is handling this for us this year)
    - plywood/money donations for the range itself

    ---
For those that volunteer if you plan on staying AFTER the event is over there will be food party and get together as well.
See here for more info and to sign up so the food count is correct.

    @ BuickGS, Tomahawk34, Marvin02, and daddyusmaxiums

There are two 50 yard benches open to instructor, 1 slot to help at skeet range, 1 RO at the 50 and someone to help at the weapons tent.
I think last year marvin02 you helped at the weapons tent but do not recall.
Please let me know if you are comfortable with any of those slots.

The rest of you are in your usual post for the event. If you want to switch let me know.

Just a note: you know my dad makes a terrible safety officer. He jumps in and starts instructing, instead of overseeing the safety.

    Jedi,

Refresher - I am new to shooting. One year at the end of May.

    Classes taken:

    (2) Intro to Pistol classes
Build your skills class (included drawing from holster)
Intro to USPSA (at Parebellum, taught by Coach from INGO)
USPSA RO Certification class (last October)

I compete in Steel Challenge and have shot a few USPSA matches.

I am comfortable taking pics, but do not own a real camera. I do have a Pixel Xl phone, which has a good camera.

I mention all this so that you can assign me to wherever you think I will be useful. Oh yeah, new to shooting, but not new. I believe I would be classified as an old fart.

I can bring (if needed or wanted)

    (2) 10/22s, one with peep sight and one with red dot
    Ruger Rough Rider
    Staple gun
    Tools as needed

I have volunteered to pick up donations in other areas of the state. I travel to Indy, as far south as Cincinnati, and as far east as Syracuse on a monthly basis.

What kind of targets are needed? I would be willing to donate some. If you want to pick 250 targets at https://gunfun.com/ I will purchase and donate them if they are needed.

I'd like to volunteer. Maybe at a food tent, or passing out the T-shirts, or as Greeter. I'm not getting around as well as in the past, but I have a service dog now that may be interesting to kids to learn about as well. Just put me where I don't have to walk long distances.

Whoever is in charge contact me about donations for T-shirts. I'm gonna have my VFW donate.
