I'll bring the clay thrower and clays for the shotgun range.

I'll bring paper plates, condiments, and plastic "silverware". I've got most of the water left from last meet.

Just a note about the food.
Some of the new rangers may have a problem.
    It is against the rules.

Maybe if we set the food far off the line, and no one takes food to the line, maybe...

I have a portable propane grill I can bring.

Sent an email to Doug who is in charge of Winamac FWA. Asked if some food is allowed behind the bench and no food/drink sign. Told him would be no onsite cooking involved.

Hate to have everyone bring something and it get wasted.

Figure I'll hear back in a day or 2

    so, no grill?

I really dont think they're going to allow a grill for cooking, but maybe using a propane grill to "keep warm" v/s cooking, might be ok.
I'll see what he has to say, and go from there.

I'd rather have talked to him and get an ok than everyone shows up with something and we cant eat it. I'm only a little concerned because of some of the interactions with the new ro last time out

Doug replied to my inquiry on food.

It's all good as long as it stays back in the grassy area. He will let the ROs know we will be there on the 17th

Hey Don -- do you mind throwing the sled in the trunk again? I want to run the scoped cz through paces again without my shaky hands being a factor.

The sign says No Food or Drink beyond this point.

The hot dogs will be steaming hot and the chili will be piping hot no cooking necessary.

I was hoping that James V could bring his awning again.

I really wish you had not said anything at all.

The rule is no food or drink at the benches. The signs say beyond this point which implies that it is all right to eat back where we sit. By asking, you have given them the chance to say no.

It is easier to ask forgiveness than permission. I take it you have never been in the Military.

Please do not take this as a stern rebuke, but more of a learning experience.

I just read this, all is well.

True but I'd rather not spend money on something that we cant use at the same time. I for one don't like wasting money. And now if an RO says something I have proof we're good to go from their superiors. Can even use a grill if we want. We have the head of Winamac FWA blessing.
