    Greetings Indiana Ggun Owners.
I registered because I'm considering a move to Indiana and want to become familiar with the gun community of this state. Will look forward to hearing your responses to my questions.

Laker, you'll find that Indiana is a pretty gun-friendly state with a "shall issue" stance on handgun licenses. The Indiana LTCH is "unlimited," which means you can carry any handgun you legally own, in any manner you chose. Indiana laws under the Daniels administration were relaxed to bolster our rights to carry and own guns, so if you're a gun owner, you'll like it here.

We're not Alaska, but we're working on it! Welcome!

I just came down from a decade in Alaska and grew up in NY just outside the city...Indiana is much closer to Alaska especially it seems to the south. The state has either grown more gun friendly since the 80's or the southern end is more gun friendly than the north. My opinion since being stationed at Grissom but YMMV. May just be who I talk to. Definitely better than our neighbor to the west!
