    Hello Everyone,

I have made the decision to take job offer in Indiana. Ifigured I would join the site and start doing some research into gun laws. Go figure…I just received my IL CCW last week. I have been waiting and fighting toget it but it has been exhausting.

I am thinking of moving to the Crown Point area. Are there any crazy gun laws that I need to take into consideration?

:welcome: As long as you don't want a short barrel shotgun, throwing stars, or a ballistic knife you're good. Pretty much everything else is cool.

    Welcome to INGO, and Indiana.
You'll need to look around INGO and start to learn the laws.
While they are better than Illinois, they are still there.
You could take a class from Tactical Firearms Training, they have a class... Comprehensive Indiana Gun Law, taught by Guy Relford.
    I highly recommend it.
If you get info of here, or anywhere, get proof. Such as the IC (Indiana Code).

And :welcome: to Indiana, FOID FREE and proud of it!!!!:) Seriously, like actaeon277 has said, though you will find it "less restrictive" here than where you are from, you of course are still responsible to know the laws and follow them responsibly. This is a good place to start. so :welcome:aboard!!! Glad you found :ingo:!! Good Luck.........:yesway:

Congrats! I made the move 7 years ago and will never move back! It's like a whole different world when it comes to gun freedom.
