Planning to move to Indiana from Texas in the next few months.

I'm still trying to narrow down where I'm heading but thinking most likely west or south of Indianapolis.

My main firearms interests are pistols and pistol training. I just took my first defensive class using simunitions and that was a blast and learned a lot.

Looking forward to being part of the community here and once I make it up there, hope to connect with those near me.

Welcome to :ingo: If you're looking west of Indy I can recommend a town, although I might be a bit partial

    Oh great, another Texan...

Welcome to the Forum, a few quick things to note [lean into the computer, I'm going to have to whisper so that no one else hears]
1.) They put pasta in their chili here, and still call it chili! Not kidding, and they even say it with a straight face. 2.) When hosting people for dinner think bland food. I've found that if I cook things normally that everyone around the table is sweating (Northerners!). 3.) Which reminds me...they believe they live in the Midwest. I know, I know, but they really do. I've even shown a few folks a map and asked what they were west of, or what they were in the middle of but it just seems to confuse them... Just go with it. 4.) They refer to themselves as "Hoosiers" but most folks don't know what that means so you probably shouldn't ask. A Sooner knows what the heck a Sooner is!!
