Welcome from Clark County. As for your eye dominance situation, I am same. When shooting a pistol, It is easily overcome by shifting aimpoint of head ever so slightly. As for rifle, I try shooting left handed. Although I have learned to compensate in rifle fire in right handed form. All I can say is train, train, and train. Maybe talk to an instructor, they may have tips. I learned the hard way, USN instruction. Let me know how it works out. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip about pistols, I damn near surgical with a shotgun in my left hand, and I shoot rifles left handed alright, that's more just a practice issue though, but with a handgun, I am atrocious! And as I just got my carry permit again (went lifetime this time) I didn't want to start carrying until I know I'll be of more use than harm if **** goes down, as it is, from 5 yds, I can't even land all 16 on the paper, let alone with any sort of accuracy

My sister and 1 of my friends have this situation they are learning to deal with. Sis was having a hard time with her hand gun. I could not figure it out but happened to stand just right and saw her problem. With change of her stance, grip and practice she has overcome it.

Now my friend is just a hard head.

    Welcome to Ingo.
