New to this forum and new to guns.
I am from Washington state, but this is the first site I found that looked interesting, and active. Hope that's ok.
An elderly neighbor gave me a couple of revolvers and I think I am already hooked. Have only been to the range once, but I am pretty sure that this will be my next great hobby.
Look forward to getting good tips and info here.
It will be easy for you guys. I know almost nothing.

Welcome to INGO! Great site! Some Great people, some ok people and some well ....

Haha. Like most forums. I'm sure mostly good guys, and a few well.....
Even those (snarky) guys usually have great info if you can get past the ego and abrasiveness.
Like I said, I'm new to this whole thing so I will need all the help I can get.

Welcome from Hobart. You have to remember firearms are like Jays Potato Chips-you can't just have one.:spend:

I'm already certain that you are right but that has already been as he gave me 2.
    An SP101 357 and a Bearcat 22.
    Already wondering what's next. Haha

One thing to remember about INGO is a lot of us know each other in real life, not just from the cyber-world. We also have INGOers in far away places like Alamo in Texas and Sylvain in Normandy, France.

SP 101 and a Beretta Bearcat? Sounds like a good start. The Ruger's big brother is the GP 100. You've got a .22 LR so maybe a Ruger 10/22? Ruger has sold over 5 million of them for a reason. Semi-auto carry gun? The discussion on that subject is ongoing here and that's before caliber comes up. Pump shotgun? AR? Why not all of the above?? Now we're talking!

    Welcome to the group!

    :welcome:

We even accept people from the left coast. :D :D :D Seriously, I do like to warn people that sometimes a thick skin is needed. Usually on INGO you will find things very pleasant, and very firearm, but every now and then... ;)

Oh, and a big fan of Berettas, "Bearcat"? Honestly never seen one. The current tip up barrel .22 is a Bobcat although I am sure there are many Berettas I am unfamiliar with and willing to learn more.

It is a Ruger bearcat 22.
Awesome gun. Way more fun than i thought it would be.
Had my first cleaning session tonight and it was almost as much fun as shooting.
By the way, thank you for all of the welcomes. Much appreciated.
I signed up on a local forum and got no responses to my welcome post.
I will have a million questions and i think that i am in the right place.
