Hi, new to INGO and desperatly running from the wild west and undesirables known as armslist. Glad to be here, but a bit worried about navigating this site. Seems over complicated any advice for turning filters on or off to reduce the clutter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I really haven't found any issues with navigation. Maybe I've just gotten used to the format, but never bothered me. A ton of great information here, a lot of members with a wealth of combined knowledge and experience.

Word of warning I give many people who are new to this or any site I belong to, some times thick skin is required. For the most part the people of this site are great and friendly people with lots of knowledge and worthwhile opinions. Like life, you are likely now and then to run into one person who rubs you wrong. That person does not speak for the rest of INGO.

Welcome, can't help with your "overwhelming" problem and filters.

I just started reading and reading and then more reading when I first joined. Maybe that helped to better navigate the site as I only when to a few areas.

One man's clutter is another man's valuable information. One thing I've found that helps is to just look at the New Posts or Unread Posts. Then you just get the most recent topics being discussed. Unless, of course, you really are here just for the classifieds and not the discussion, in which case, either pay the $20 Site Supporter fee or suck it up and make your fifty posts, and you might actually learn something along the way.

Thanks for all the info! Not really overwhelming just not really streamlined. No worries, I'm sure I will figure it out shortly. Part of the problem could be using a mobile.
