Hello from Downtown Indy!

Moved from the (People's Republic of) Maryland and became a Hoosier a year ago, discovered INGO a couple of weeks back, and found the time to post just now!

Speaking of "Hoosiers" -- is there a term for a member of this forum? Are we Ingos? Ingoers?

Last but not least, can't wait to visit my first NRA convention this weekend!

I am required to go to MD on occasion for work...I hate that state and will never go back willingly. It's too bad, a lovely land killed by its politics. Vote for freedom and have fun around

Maryland and a lot of the leftier coast is beautiful. It is amazing that they are the ones that fight to revoke the same tenets that they shed so much blood to insure.

Same story -- I have to go to MD every couple of months, and it makes it that much harder to endure.
I didn't know much about the Midwest, and moving to Indiana was quite a revelation.
I feel lucky fate (well, my wife's new job) brought me here, as it appears to stand apart even from its immediate neighbors.
It's the third most free state in the nation (another thing I didn't know) -- needless to say I enjoy it immensely.

Yes-sir. Baffling. However, one might speculate that growing up in a large city has a tendency to produce people fundamentally unable or unwilling to think for themselves.
Their basic needs are covered to such extent that many do not even have to learn to cook.
This in turn results in them happily trying to exchange their liberties for perceived safety. And we all know that results in one having neither.
