Can anyone tell why I have to make 50 posts before I can private message?

Because this is not an "Armslist" where people sell gun.
It is a forum for the exchange of information, in which some members trade/buy/sell guns.

Not all new people are here trying to just trade/buy/sell guns, but too many join just for that.
And they use PMs to try to circumvent the 50 post rule.

This pretty well covers it. You can PM any staff member at any time such as myself but you will get the same response as the above member gave.

Read the simple rules we have in place to run the site. Like them or not they work.
