    Hello!

I am new to INGO and I am looking forward to using this site as a place to learn more about expanding my gun collection and learn new reloading skills. I recently had the opportunity to buy a lightly used FN Five Seven for 900 bucks and was wondering if anyone has tried reloading the 5.7x28 round? If you have, what powder do you use and have you ever had problems with the coating on the cases being damaged during the reloading process and causing malfunctions in the gun?

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the group!

    :welcome:

I am a fan of the 5.7x28 myself owning both the Five-seveN pistol along with his and hers PS90s. As for reloading, I have not tried it because I have read too many horror stories about how easy they are to overload and how important the paint on the rounds is.

You might want to check the internet for result, but most people I know say better be safe than sorry and recommend against reloading the 5.7x28. Not saying it can't be done, just it is very temperamental.
