SOLD from Demotte, IN:
Vintage Kabar USMC Fighting Knife
I don't know the age, but it looks aged. I don't know what generation the knife is. I just know it is not one of the newer ones with what looks to be paint on the blade. (Yuck!!!)
The primary blade does not look to have been sharpened (except at the factory) and the swedge is factory sharpened. There appears to have been some very light sharpening on the swedge where a nick in the swedge was apparently removed. This does not affect the performance of the blade in any way as the work done was very light.
I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
SOLD!!
I am asking $60 FTF in NW Indiana and $65 Shipped to your door.
The knife could be worth considerably more to collectors. I am positive, however, that it is worth every penny I am asking as a useable knife, as the Kabars have become legendary for their ability to stand up to hard use in the field!
Thanks for your time and interest in advance!
