Up for your consideration is a Smith & Wesson Stainless Maverick Model 6061 Clip Point Sports Man’s knife. This knife was produced from the late 70s thru early 80s. I purchased this knife from a fellow who won it in a work place raffle then put it in his safe for over 25 years. I have had it for just less than five years and think it is time for it to have a new home. It has never been carried or sharpened and is in NOS condition. The blade does have some very light marks where it touches the handle. The handles are stainless steel with rosewood inlays. The knife has a brass blade stop and stainless pivot pin. Included is a black leather sheath with S&W logo on the snap. The knife and sheath are in the original packaging with “a Bangor Punta company” labeling (Smith & Wesson was owned by Bangor Punta from 1968-1984). The blade is 3 5/8" and knife is 8 1/8" OAL.
