Just saw this on the news and they've got an article up:
Senator wants to limit "easy access" to dangerous explosives - 13 WTHR Indianapolis

It looks so scary so i guess the government needs to regulate it :xmad:

I don't even use the stuff but seeing them attack it and call an AR a "high-powered rifle" really annoyed me. The only threat to homeland security i'm feeling is all of these politicians trying to destroy our liberty.

ding ding ding. We have a winner folks.

Joking aside, I spoke about this the day after sep. 11 and everyone thought I was being insensitive.

The terrorists can never take our freedom even if they wanted to but our government is certainly doing a great job.

But people shoot the AR-15 for "high power" NRA competitions. :n00b:

Gee Wally, I hope they make it illegal to run with scissors. A fella could really get hurt running with scissors!:n00b:

Nah, just wait until someone is hurt and then sue the scissor-makers into bankruptcy. That is the liberal way. Just try to buy a decent gas can.

This can't be true. Isn't Merritt a Republican?

Also, wouldn't the rifle used to set off the material be considered just as dangerous? Merritt just may put 2 and 2 together at some point.

I don't know if anyone else noticed in the ads that WTHR was running every 5 minutes on election night for this story that they put CGI explosions of fire in the tannerite explosions to make them seem worse than they are. Just something to consider. Not that any of you thought that the media was honest anyway.

So, you all are saying I should quit cashing in all my beer and pop cans and save them?

    Precisely what I'm saying.
What, 50 cents to a dollar per pound, tops?
In exchange for a vital ingredient for fun toys?
No question which one wins in my mind.
I figure I subsidize each case of Coca-Cola by roughly a dime.
    Much better uses for it.
