Bank of America will no longer allow any purchases of ammo or guns on debit cards.
I just watched a lady do an interview on the phone with Bank of America, and they refused any purchases on a debit card for ammo and guns .

Just at businesses they black listed though right? In which case it's just an extension of what they've already done to shops who use BoA. That doesn't make it excusable though.

If I go to Walmart and spend $20. BoA doesn't know if its bullets, condoms, or Bibles.

Cuirious on this myself. Though I will not do business with BoA, it is good to keep an eye on the trolls...

If you feel so strongly about it, then boycott them. Seems like an infringement on our rights. Since BoA is private, I suppose they can do this, but I would never get a card from them bc of this.

That's OK. Citi Bank and Discover welcome the thousands I have spent on Ammo and guns lately:) And they give me cash back for doing it:rockwoot:

However, Bank of America recently issued a new card that rewards people for reducing debt. Most credit card rewards programs pay card holders for spending and adding to debt. The BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards card incentivizes consumers for paying their monthly bills on time and for throwing in a little more over their minimum charge. You can get a payday loan to make your credit card payment on time if you want the reward.

I assume you are with BoA? It appears you signed up to use your first post for this commercial...

I never buy any gun stuff with a card anyways. Cash only because you know who's watching and tracking all purchases!

Being a gun owner in this country makes you a threat to the government. That's exactly the way they view it too and anyone who says different is wrong.

I'm not convinced this is legit, but whatever.

I listened to video and really never heard any real statement from the rep.

But, then again BofA does try and pull a lot of crap.

Notice the correction on the video. I guess they realized that it's illegal to deny a person access to their money.
