    So a 16 year old can operate a motor vehicle, and motor vehicles slaughter people by the hundreds.
    But are deemed too immature to operate a firearm at 18.
    Wow, tell that to the infantry.

    If she was a he she definetly would have a case, because per federal law she would be eligible for the militia, IMHO.

    What got me confused was the " parental consent " part of the FOID requirements.

    She is 18 and can live completely independent of her parents then why the requirement?:dunno:

    Seems to me a slam dunk case.

    I guess Madigan isn't really worried about that choice?
