So how long before they make up some reason to throw the study out and call it's conclusions invalid?

Slate's taking a look at the newly released CDC study on guns, (done at the behest of the Obama admin) and the results probably aren't exactly what the administration was hoping for. A lot of the stuff, (in the 10 points shown in the article) are things we gun owners have known and have been saying for years. Nice to see a balanced article on the issue for once.

Not that this would make irrational people like Diane Feinstein ever give up on the "AWB" wet dream.

Funny. The article didn't mention one single thing that would support the Odumbo's administration stance on banning "assault" weapons or limiting magazine capacities. It also directly contradicts their notion that background checks will solve anything.

And it also reinforces what we've been saying for years. Hard to ignore now.

Odumbo will just pay for another survey run by some hack organization that will support his agenda and use that for his "facts." That, or he'll try to push more anti-gun legislation down our throats and when confronted with this survey just say "I didn't know about it until I saw it on the news."

The issue isn't about scientific studies and logical conclusions in the liberal mind. It is all about emotion, fear and control. After all the elected leaders are the cream of the crop this nation has to offer (at least in their mind) they need to protect us from out own incompetent selves.
