Church Carnival - Legal to Carry?

I am wondering if it is legal to carry a handgun at a Church carnival. The Church has a school but the carnival is outside on the grounds outside of school or church hours.

Nope, if there is a school there, it is school grounds 24/7/365.

I'll third what's already been said. Leave it in your car, (parked off of school grounds) or leave it at home. It's not worth the potential charges you'd face.

Your other option is to talk with your pastor. I'm assuming he also acts as superintendent of the school on the property. If he gives written consent, then it's okay. My church also has a school and the pastor has given some of us consent to carry.
