I don't think you can count the numbers on the petition as a reasonable indicator of the outcome of the election. As I remember anyone could sign the petition, even out-of-staters. I know I signed at least one of them, maybe Hickenloopers?

    I wish them luck.

As that state has turned blue though, I'm afraid victories will be for battles in a losing war.

It might be a Scott Walker scenario. They get enough signatures for a recall, but it ends up flopping. Colorado has gone blue the past two elections by not so small margins. I really think this'll be a toss-up.

One of the petitioners down at the Denver gun show told me we have an excellent chance of getting rid of Morse due to the fact his constituency is down in the springs(republican territory) and he barely won the election which was split 3 ways with an independent candidate taking a share of the vote.

Voter apathy turned CO blue, like a body that stops breathing for too long. If this doesn't snap them out of it and send voters to the polls, they'll die the death they chose. Hope they succeed and hope more folks start voting everywhere.
