You can give them credit for persistence, but I'm not sure for brains. They've failed before with similar lawsuits, doing serious financial harm to those they were "helping". They are hoping for a major payday and to destroy a gun accessory company and make it easier to sue other such companies.

The Legal Loophole That Could Give the Vegas Shooting Victims a Big Payday

Despite Brady's claims, my non-lawyer reading of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act seems to make this lawsuit another case of tilting at windmills. The key part is Sec 4 (4), which defines the products qualified for protection as:
    (4) QUALIFIED PRODUCT- The term `qualified product' means a firearm (as defined in subparagraph (A) or (B) of section 921(a)(3) of title 18, United States Code), including any antique firearm (as defined in section 921(a)(16) of such title), or ammunition (as defined in section 921(a)(17)(A) of such title), or a component part of a firearm or ammunition, that has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce.

Can we start a class action lawsuit against the Brady Campaign for maliciously interfering with our constitutional rights?

Maybe they'll be like that couple that lost someone at Aurora, worked at Brady Center, sued, and then had to pay $203,000.
