What happens when some arss goes on a rampage with a gun that doesn't feature a high capacity magazine? Will we lose everything else?

In another thread someone was wondering why SCOTUS is not ruling on these cases. It takes 4 of 9 judges on SCOTUS to hear a case. I speculate that they are kind of deadlocked on this issue. The 4 very liberal judges don't want to take it because they don't think they can win easily and the 4 conservative judges feel the same way with Kennedy being the unknown variable. Yes we need one, preferably two, (belt and suspenders) replacements on the side of the 2A.

Let see here.....the judge ruled that the militia shouldn't have militia-type weaponry.

    OK.

I see this decision overturned in the long run. But who really gives a **** about massachusetts in the first place?

There are a lot of federal judge positions open, and this is where Trump can make an impact as big, if not bigger, than the SCOTUS, given that the circuit and appeals courts hear many more cases than ever reach SCOTUS.

But it also requires the Senate to confirm the nominations. They should have been working overtime since Trump's election to fill out the courts, but....

We all should. Those who would strip us of our rights and attempt to erode the Second Amendment will point to this as legal precedent to restrict "assault weapons". This gives them more ammunition (metaphorically of course) to use in their propaganda campaign.

Holding the Senate is also vital. Let's start here by removing Donnelly...but let's also not repeat the same mistake we make with Richard Murdock. Without control of the Senate, we won't get the kind of Pro 2A justice we desire.

Agreed. Also, as Mass. was the place where an attempted gun grab started a revolution...

Can’t really believe you would make this statement, unless it was tongue in cheek !
