So far, it doesn't mean anything more than the Detroit City Council is a bunch of typical left-leaning lunatics. It's not a bill, it's a resolution. They are officially saying we want this in a state law, which is all they can do. That's why one of the supporters said, "Lansing here we come". Remember the hoopla about the Indy City Council resolution pertaining to an assault weapon ban? Means nothing unless the state legislature passes a law.
