News to me. Have not been able to verify through either of the affiliated organization's websites.
How is one supposed to keep on top of these things, anyway? You can't organize a counter-protest with only twenty-four hours notice.
Also, these people know they've tried this once before and failed, right? Indiana repealed its requirement for background checks on private handgun transfers in '98 because it was impossible to enforce.

The problem with protest signs is that if a message is long enough to express a reasoned argument it's also too long to fit the format, thereby degrading the level of conversation to little more than slinging memes and tribal chants at each other.
Same problem as Twitter, really.

They are marching in support of two DEAD UBC bills. On 14 April a pro-2A rally packed the entire block from the edge of the Statehouse grounds to the street, from Senate to Capitol Avenue and around the corners. Lets see if this bunch can muster more than 200.

No need for purple on that one. With a week's notice and the weather we have today pro-2A would outnumber this bunch by a lot. I am interested to see the media coverage, and the close-up camera shots to make it look like there's more than a couple dozen out there.

Simple solution to some of this BS is to require firearms safety and marksmanship training prior to graduation from a school receiving Federal Tax dollars. If you don't participate, you go to the head of the line in a Draft (male or female, equality and all).

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting in a restaurant with several TV screens visible during the news hour. It was kind of comical to see one of the local channels showing a group of anti-gun protesters that numbered all of half-a-dozen, while at the exact same time another channel was showing a story about a gun raffle to raise money for charity that had hundreds of people at it.
