So these two trouble makers have to be escorted out of a Chicago McDonald's by a security guard.

    1. A McDonald's needs a security guard. Think about that for a second... Tells you where we are as a society.

    2. As they are leaving, they attack the guard. Keep in mind they are half his age. So it's two against one, they're younger, stronger, faster, and catch him by surprise.

    3. Onlookers quietly watch, offering zero assistance, after he just saved the restaurant from whatever mayhem these two dirtbags were up to. They do, however, film the event for their entertainment, and social media notoriety.

    4. However, once the outnumbered, and overpowered guard (clearly enjoying his white privilege) realizes his life may be in danger, and goes for his weapon (that he doesn't fire) screams, and cries of "No!" from the peanut gallery.

    5. The indecent was never reported to 911.

Mac shacks in the more...turbulent...portions of cities have had armed guards for years. What's notable in this case is the McD was near the Magnificent Mile, in the more ritzy/touristy part of town. The rule of thumb that you will be safe(r) if you stick to certain parts of Chicago is breaking down.

You can read more about this incident here: CWB Chicago: Video: Guard draws gun to ward off attackers at Mag Mile McDonald's
Apparently it was reported to the police, but the miscreants were long gone by the time the cops arrived.

It was part of a larger incident, which is part of a larger phenomenon of crime from the "bad" parts of town being exported to the rest of Chicago.

Chicago has a highly efficient thug delivery systemcommonly known as the train. It defies my understanding that Indianapolis is apparently bent on introducing the same problem.

I think if you pull your gun, it might be a good idea to call the police.
Someone else could call, making them look like the victim and you the attacker.

I would be very surprised if there wasn't more video of the encounter. Very little of downtown Chicago is not covered by at least one camera.

Wrote this elsewhere, but thought it appropriate her too.

The actions which struck me, was just how nonchalant the assailants were. They just attacked a man in broad daylight in a public area (assault), and when presented with a deadly force response did not run away in obvious fear or concern, but rather relatively just walked away.

I found the assailants response more concerning than the event, as to me it shows a level of predation and lack of concern for the law that suggests a societal breakdown. Their actions had to be a relative norm for them, which frankly is a little terrifying.

It's Chicago, where thugs know that the honest people have been disarmed, and armed security virtually neutered, so there was no reason for them to run from the scene, as they know no one was going to end their reign of terror once and forever.

The link I provided above was updated to say that when the guard was escorting the two out of McDonald's, one of them hit him in the head with a bottle. Also, police were in fact notified and responded, but of course the two were gone by then.

McDonalds in Ferdinand In. has a manager that open carries a Glock while working. He told me the owners were cool with it. Ferdinand is thug free! :rockwoot:

Very true. People living is democrat run s*** holes have become accustomed to this kind of life. It's like the difference between your first day in a war zone, and the day before you rotate out on your third tour...

"Violent crime, damn it, I'm busy. Leave me alone."

It's almost acceptable behavior. It only interferes with their day, if at an inconvenient time... Yet they STILL think that policies in effect in these areas are going to save them...

Goes to show you really cannot trust anyone else to protect you. Especially as a white dude in 2019, your being beaten to death in the street is more likely to be met with cheers and jeers than intervention to save your life. Keep calm and carry.
