**Please come show your support for gun safety and 2nd amendment rights!

WHERE: Huntington County Court House - Public hearing
    WHEN: January 28, 2020 at 6:30pm

    Details:

Indiana Firearms Training has requested a special exception to zoning that will allow them to teach gun safety and high level firearms training on their privately owned property in Huntington County, IN. This training would only occur 1-2 days per week for 2 - 4 hrs at a time. Even though the zoning board has allowed much less controlled ranges to operate in the area, it was apparent after the initial hearing, the Board may cave and not allow the zoning exemption.

Please come show your support! It is anticipated there will be many anti-gun advocates in attendance to show opposition.

The Second Amendment secures the right to operate and practice with firearms at a range, for purposes including learning about firearms, safely gaining proficiency with firearms, obtaining any training required as a condition of firearms ownership, recreation, hunting, and competition. In order to make possible the exercise of those rights, the Second Amendment protects the right of the people, including to own, construct, and operate a range for these purposes.

    Thank you all in advance!

Tom Gresham devoted almost an entire hour of his last show to the need for 2A people to get involved in local issues. He's right. We need to do more because we're getting out efforted by the moms in the red shirts.

If you're in the area, show up and speak up.

There was a local issue (southwest of Indy) a year or two ago where a guy had set up a REAL NICE "private" range for him and a couple of buddies to shoot at occasionally. The neighbors and the local council, don't remember if it was city or county, were against it. He "promised" just him and a couple of buddies occasionally. Once it was approved it became a 5 day a week operation with LOTS of "buddies". Don't know it's current status.

Happened in Terre Haute too. Cory &Erica built a huge range started hosting classes, pissed the neighborhood off, and THEN went to zoning. DENIED!!!!

Zoning boards are the biggest enemy of the 2nd Amendment there is.

Everyone gets up in arms about AWBs and whatnot but it is gun owners and zoning boards that will be the demise of the 2nd Amendment.

We had one trying to go into Newton County. He was buying 300 acres and the neighbors were able to block it. I got numerous messages from people that lived in the area. "I am totally a gun guy but..."

We sit around, expecting our officials to have our best interests in mind... but they only hear the squeaky wheels in red shirts...

Reid Henricks was saying today we need EVERYONE to get out and get involved, start working to get EVERY county to become a sanctuary county, even in supposed 2A friendly states.
