i've only been here a month and I can already tell that anything anti 2A stands about a snowballs chance in hell. the firearms culture here is refreshing to say the least.

I doubt this will get a committee hearing (AKA dead on arrival) but we have to remain vigilant. A lot of progress has been made in the last 10 years, but much more to do.

Glad you’re here. It’s gettin more and more folks like you in our state that makes that possible. Like kelly said, we have to stay on top of it, we’ve made too much progress to begin getting comfortable and let them begin rolling it back again.

I'm new to paying attention to this sort of thing, as before I never felt much threat. What's the best way to contact my representatives, by phone? I found a link where I input my address and it showed me addresses and phone numbers. Will this really be DOA?

The link below is the one to watch. Emailing your Rep/Senator is easy from the website. Snail mail works, Post Cards do too. You can also call and leave a message.

My DOA prediction is from what I saw last year. I pretty new to this stuff as well.

    Just before the earth ends.
Also being introduced tomorrow by Stoops District 40:
SB0028 Universal Background checks for firearms.
    SB0029 Storage of firearms.

I guess if you are Democrat you have to go along party lines and introduce this stuff?

Stoops is retiring after the 2020 session.

I also don't necessarily agree with SB 28 filed by Stoops for Universal Background Checks or SB 29 filed by Stoops for Storage of Firearms. Okay I see n9tkf beat me on these two.
