Wondering if anyone has applied for and what their opinions are for applying for a non-resident carry permit for Maryland. They don't honor any other state's permit, and I'm traveling there later this year for training for a week. Thoughts?

I'd start by looking here for answers.

EDIT: After looking through some of those post, there's guys who are literally setting up a business with the sole purpose of trying to look like they need protection in order to get a permit. I highly doubt they'll give you one because you're going to be in town for a week and really want your gun.

Sorry, OP, I suggest you suck it up, and deal with it.

Sadly I was finding the same, just thought I would reach out to see if anyone had any personal insight. I'm flying out, so not even going to be able to bring my daily knife unless I want checked baggage.
